Tustin highlight
Historic downtown
The historic core of Tustin preserves the city's heritage from its 1868 founding, with buildings and landmarks listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tustin's downtown district reflects the city's origins as a railroad town. Founded in 1868 by Columbus Tustin, a carriage maker, the city was officially incorporated in 1927 and centered around its historic core. Old Town Tustin remains home to several buildings recognized on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Artz Building, David Hewes House, and Sherman Stevens House—structures that carry the architectural traditions and character of Tustin's early decades.
The downtown area is also known as the "City of Trees," a nickname that traces to Tustin's founder, who planted sycamores and native oaks throughout the city streets. These established neighborhoods have remained largely residential and locally oriented, with long-standing community ties. Many of Tustin's families have lived in the same areas for generations, creating stable, multigenerational neighborhoods where schools, parks, and local institutions anchor community life.
In neighborhoods with that kind of stability and history, families often think long-term. Homeowners protecting a mortgage for decades, parents planning for children's futures, and business owners securing their households' well-being are the households that need term life insurance most. A 20- or 30-year term policy provides the peace of mind that comes from knowing the people you care about would be supported if something happened to you.
